How It Works
Microneedling creates tiny channels in the scalp or skin that stimulate the follicles and help the EXO GRO™ growth factors absorb where they’re needed. Together these support a healthier growth environment and encourage stronger, fuller hair growth over a course of treatments, working with the hair’s natural growth cycle.
What Happens in a Session
We cleanse the area, then pass the Dermapen across the scalp or treatment area while applying the EXO GRO™ growth factors. You’ll feel a light prickling sensation as it works. The treatment is reasonably quick and well tolerated. Afterwards we apply soothing products and explain the simple aftercare, keeping the area clean and avoiding harsh products for a day, along with any home-care steps that help support your results between sessions.
Downtime & Aftercare
Minimal, there may be some redness or mild tenderness in the area for a day or so. Keep the area clean and avoid harsh products, heat and vigorous activity for around 24 hours.
Sessions & Frequency
A course of sessions spread over a few months works with the hair’s growth cycle, followed by maintenance. Your plan is confirmed at consultation.
Suitability
Best for early-to-moderate thinning or sparse growth; results vary between individuals. Not suitable over active scalp infection or during pregnancy. We’ll assess suitability and set realistic expectations at consultation.
