How It Works
Rapid, high-energy laser pulses are absorbed by the concentrated pigment in each spot and break it into fine particles, without harming the surrounding skin. The body’s natural processes then clear these particles over the following days, which is why treated spots darken and flake away before revealing clearer skin.
What Happens in a Session
We cleanse the skin and pass the laser over each pigmented spot or area. You’ll feel a quick, warm snapping sensation as each pulse is delivered. Treated spots usually darken immediately, taking on a fine, coffee-grounds appearance. The treatment is quick, especially for individual spots. Afterwards we apply soothing products and SPF, and explain the simple aftercare, the most important part being not to pick at the spots and to protect the area from the sun while it heals.
Downtime & Aftercare
Minimal, treated spots darken and then flake away over roughly a week. Don’t pick at them; keep the skin protected and use daily SPF, and avoid sun exposure while the area heals to prevent new pigment forming.
Sessions & Frequency

Suitability
Best suited to defined pigment on fair-to-medium skin, and not suitable on tanned skin or during pregnancy. Some pigment types respond better than others, so suitability is confirmed at consultation.
